Windward School

Windward School is a private school in the Mar Vista section of Los Angeles, California, USA accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It was started by writer/teacher Shirley Windward in 1971. The school currently enrolls 475 students in grades 7 through 12.

Windward is currently undergoing a redevelopment process in which many of its buildings will be retrofitted to provide students with more up to date buildings. The remodel is expected to take approximately two years.
