Windsor is an electoral ward of South Belfast. A Windsor ward has existed in Belfast since the 1920s. The ward was substantially reduced in size in 1973 being subdivided into new wards of Windsor, Saint George's and Malone.
The Windsor ward is home to Linfield FC who play at Windsor Park. They are the biggest and most successful football club in the game in either Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland.
As part of the review of Local Government in Northern Ireland, the ward is currently scheduled for abolition.
