The name Windrazor (Diablo in Italy) was first given to a Decepticon Skyscorcher. He was called Tornado in some countries, and Volcano in others.

He's utterly unscrupulous and will sacrifice anything - even his team or himself - to win. The destruction of the Autobots is his one and only goal in life. As a plane, he swoops from the skies with firepower cunningly disguised as an undercarriage radar targeting system. As a robot, he leads his troops like an evil genius.

Windrazor's colors are a direct homage to Generation 1 Starscream.

In the distant future of Cybertron, a young Predacon known as the Cub underwent a right of passage, assigned to kill the Autobot referred to as the Veteran, who is hinted to be the Dinobot named Swoop. He failed, and faced the wrath of his brother Cataclysm. In an attempt to access his knowledge, resistance leader Sandstorm had the Veteran merge his spark with the Cub's, resulting in a binary-Spark being known as Windrazor. Due to the Cub's beast mode being a wolf and the Veteran's being a bird, Windrazor's form was a winged wolf.

Windrazor intercepted his brother, destroying him during a battle traveling through time. He found himself of Earth, in the time of the Beast Wars. Seeking out the dark essence of Unicron, he found it only to encounter Megatron and Optimus Primal. During a battle with Megatron, Windrazor's Cub side used animalistic tactics, drawing Unicron's essence right to him.

Windrazor became a dark warrior of incredible power, overcoming Optimus and Megatron and then incapacitating the Predacons. He then set his sights upon the Maximals, but his dual Spark managed to throw off Unicron's influence. He then witnessed the arrival of Shokaract, and participated in battle against him in Point Omega. After Shokaract's timeline was erased, it is unknown what happened to Windrazor after he was carried away from an explosion by Apelinq.
