Windows Powertools

Windows Powertools is a set of freeware tools for the Microsoft Windows operating system written in .NET 2.0 and Windows batch language by Vivek Narayanan. The current version is 4.0.

The main features are:
- Clearing cache to speed up PCs.It clears the bulk of the unwanted cache that the Disk cleanup agent doesn't in the %TEMP% folder
- Enabling users to check and resolve errors in their hard drives.
- Defragmenting of drives to make the user's pc 2 to 3x faster
- Converting file systems from FAT32 to NTFS
- Compressing hard disk / flash drives to save space
- It also has an image converter,that can convert multiple images in the same directory at very fast speeds.This however does not compress the images.It converts images between PNG GIF JPG BMP and TIF formats
- It also provides users easy access to 11 little known but powerful Windows system configuration utilities.

In the latest version,version 4.0 ,released on 29th October 2007,there has been a major overhaul,the software now features a graphical user interface (GUI) and a multiple image format converter.
