The Winchester Model 1892 is a lever-action repeating rifle that is much like the earlier 1866 & 1873 models, except for a stronger receiver and smoother action. Calibers for the rifle vary and some are custom-chambered. Definite rounds were the .25, .32, .38, .44 Winchester center fire rounds. Although some say the .30-30 was a chamber, this is incorrect: the first .30-30 rifle was invented two years later in the legendary model 1894.
