Winchester Hotel

The Winchester Hotel is a historic hotel in east end Toronto and an area known as Cabbagetown at 531 Parliament Street.
Originally the Lakeview Hotel, it was built in 1888 by Thomas Kennedy. Since the 1960s, the once proud hotel was pretty much abandoned despite a re-birth of neighbourhood. Located on Parliament Street north of Gerrard Street, the hotel is being renovated with a Tim Hortons located on the ground floor. A new Laurentian Room has been added to attract upscale clientle.
