User talk:Windup
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
User:Windup,
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We're glad you have decided to join the Wikipedia project, it's a lot of fun. However, I would like to mention that it is general Wikipedia practice to not write articles about ourselves in the general namespace. However, if you would like to post information about yourself, you may create a page at User:Windup, which is your personal page. On that page, you may post as much information about yourself as you would like, and we would love for you to do so there. I personally enjoy being able to find out more about the other people contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you will continue to help make Wikipedia a better place! EvilPhoenix
Welcome to Wikipedia.
When you get a chance, drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
I'm afraid your contribution at Lisa Ko is already listed for deletion. Please don't take this personally, it happens to many of us with some of our first contributions, it did to me! Before joining in the discussion as to whether to keep it, have a look at both what Wikipedia is not and the deletion policy.
It's been suggested that this article is autobiography, see Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Lisa Ko. If so you should also look at Wikipedia:Autobiography, and consider moving the article to your user space as suggested in the deletion debate. I can help with this, even if it has been deleted in the meantime. (I tried to email you about this, but you haven't enabled that feature on your user profile.)
I hope you'll get involved with other articles and discussions whatever happens to this one.
You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp. We normally do this on discussion pages as a courtesy, but not in articles.

Please feel free to drop me a question on my talk page if there's anything you think I can help with. Or, if you'd prefer to raise anything privately, email me. You can do that easily from either my user page or user talk page. Andrewa 16:27, 16 May 2005 (UTC)
