[edit] Fiesta Online
The speedy deletion of this page is contested. The person placing this notice intends to dispute the speedy deletion of this article on its talk page, and requests that this page not be deleted in the meantime. Note that this request is not binding, and the page may still be deleted if the page unquestionably meets the speedy deletion criteria, or if the promised explanation is not provided very soon. This template should not be removed from a page still marked with a speedy deletion template.
A tag has been placed on Fiesta Online, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Finngall talk 00:50, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Fiesta Online, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 02:09, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Just because it's neither dangerous nor blasphemous doesn't make it appropriate for Wikipedia. Before you get too far into the article, why don't you give me the links to your independent sources so I can go ahead and prescreen them? Without sources, the article will be deleted. —C.Fred (talk) 02:19, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

- The article has no content. You can always remake the article when you come back with something substantial that is referenced. --Tdmg 20:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Fiesta Online, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Xiaphias 06:53, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- The page, as it stands, is not an article -- it's a collection of broken 'speedy deletion' tags. Feel free to recreate the article, but don't submit it until you've actually written the article (i.e., don't create the page first and then write the article). If you have any questions, just ask me. --Xiaphias 07:15, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

- It looks like the game is a valid MMOG, so it shouldn't be a problem if you want to create an article about it. I'm not sure why it was deleted before.--Xiaphias 07:24, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Fiesta Online. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. ~ Wikihermit 07:23, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Not a problem. An admin will come by at some point and delete the page. If you want to test, you can do so in your own user space. You can test your edits here if you'd like, and you won't have to worry about vandalism. ~ Wikihermit 07:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- No; I meant that the article contains no statement that would have established notability of the website; see WP:WEB for our notability guidelines for web content. (I have also linked the relevant speedy deletion criterion.) - Mike Rosoft 20:33, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fiesta Online still fails the notability standards
I took at the links you mentioned on my talk page, and here's what I found:
- outspark.com is the Fiesta Online registration site, so it's not independent. Actually, this site more damning than helpful, because of the words "closed public beta" prominently displayed. As a general rule, games in beta—and especially closed beta—fall well-short of notability.
- Bright Kingdom online is in Japanese, so there's no way to verify what the content is. It looks like more of a games directory than review site, so I'm not sure it would count as a valid secondary source anyway.
- gtgame.com.cn is in Chinese, so again, it's hard to verify, but it looks like a game registration splash page.
- fiestaonline.co.kr looks like the game's Korean site, so again, not independent.
- The outspark.com forum fails doubly: not only is it not independent, but it's a forum.
I did a Google search, and the most promising thing I found was onrpg.com; however, it looks like it's user-added reviews, and there aren't any currently posted for the game anyway.
Net result, I'm not seeing anything to establish Fiesta Online as notable, so it's premature to go creating an article for it. —C.Fred (talk) 22:26, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
