Philopp, in real life named Ting Chen, was born at January 29, 1968 in Shanghai, raised in Harbin, studied electric engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig. Since two years he lives with his boyfriend, now in Mainz and works for IBM there. He is mostly active in German or Chinese Wikipedia.
