Codename: Windwall

Why Windwall? For years, I have felt like I've been running against the wind. At first, I would let it get me down. After so long, I developed thick skin and a wall of resistance. So, the name, windwall.

I'm 28 and I'm searching. I work full time in the retail industry for a major and well known retailer, I'd rather not say which as I don't want them knowing that I hate my job. I'm tired of the surperficiality that I see everyday and I'm ready for a change in career and searching for more meaning. For now, I'll play the game.

I started community college classes at night this Fall and I'm studying literature and taking some journalism classes. I'm fascinated by the independent movement that's happening in art and music and clothing. I think the movement symbolizes how I feel about our advertising driven society and the search for originality and away from mass produced clothes and products. I hope to discover independent artists and businesspeople and write about them, contributing to Wikipedia and developing my writing skills. Eventually, I want to start my own independent magazine about funky and interesting clothes, art, and music.

I won't be updating Wikipedia much as I've got a busy schedule. But after classes or before work, I will contribute and refine my writing skills.
