Windspinner is a Filipino-born Wikipedian. He currently lives in the Philippines and bores himself by blending in as an intern at the Information Management department of Jollibee Foods Corporation, the leading QSR (fast food chain) in the said country. He is most recently seen carrying a humongously huge laser gun, which he decapitates people with.

[edit] Etymology
Born Ric Jerky V. San Pedro, the Windspinner has only been his second name of choice, the first being Mistral. But due to the popularity of the name Mistral, he opted to devise a name that was not as popular as Mistral but has a somewhat similar striking effect. In 2004, The Windspinner started drafting his novel and one of the characters in it needed an alias related to the wind. The alias came easily as he watched his washing machine do the dirty job for him: spin his clothes. Coining the words wind and spin together, he came up with the term windspun, which meant to be outsmarted, and soon Windspinner, the alias he needed.
In his yet to be published novel, the Windspinner is a feminine criminal mastermind capable of stealing anything no matter how heavily guarded it is. Soon the criminal mastermind bore a son who grew up to be an excellent player of a dangerous aerial sport. His antics had been ever so daring and perilous that the crowd started comparing his clean and neck-breaking maneouvres to that of his mother's and soon baptizing him the new Windspinner.
[edit] How he Became a Wikipedian
In one of his idle hours in the office, he thought of revising his homepage, and found Wikipedia's layout insteresting. He began exploring and was soon spending more time reading the wikis than doing his web application tasks. This only lead to him finally creating an account sometime in August or July of 2005 and finally joining in editing some articles and discussing with other users.
[edit] Weird Ambitions
One of his weird ambitions was to be a spy for KGB or CIA, but after finding out that his own health would not only disallow him to, but also kill him, the Windspinner decided to just dream about those things and start being a writer.
Among other things, he also wants to learn how to play the piano.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
The Windspinner's English writing and speaking ability fluctuates from time to time. More often than not, he is an intermediate writer and speaker. He can conceive of a story within minutes, develop the characters within an hour, and deepen a plot within a day under normal situations. He also seldom displays low-level eloquence in speech and in writing.
Aside from those mentioned, he has an incredibly bad luck and can pass it to anyone who's within meters. He is also terribly clumsy but is nimble enough to avoid serious accidents. This characteristic earned him the title Accident Prawn among his family.
