Talk:Winter's King
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Has anyone got the original edition?
I've got the revised version from The Wind's Twelve Quarters. This says that the original appeared in Orbit 5, 1969.
I'm trying to trace the development of Le Guin's ideas. The two Gethen tales are the first to mention the Ekumen and the first to say that all humans are of Hainish descent. Did the notions first appear in this work, or did she add them when she revised and adjusted the gender-names? --GwydionM 15:30, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
