[edit] change category

Apparently Winsted is still incorporated as a city. Hence I would like to remove it from Category:Defunct cities in Connecticut and put it into the Category:Cities in Connecticut. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 12:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

The category change has taken effect. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 21:22, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] History section

I see that it mentions the history of the city, however, when was it settled? In what year? Sullivan.t (talk) 13:28, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

The 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica says it was settled in 1756. --Polaron | Talk 14:51, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Gilbert School

I edited the gilbert school section to say [citation needed] - because there is some concern over its status as a public or semi-public or "private on the books, public to people" school. Heck, I live in the town and still don't fully know. (I went to another highschool, however.) Sullivan.t (talk) 14:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
