[edit] OK, bot
This has one sentence which is present on the project web page. The sentence is ALSO PRESENT in the project's source, which is covered under GPL. Moreover, the sentence in it's current version here has been edited in several ways - it has been linked, attributed, and broken in two. Finally, it is a simple statement of facts.
I am not a copyright lawyer to know if GPL and GFDL are compatible. But even if they are not, this is ridiculous. Fair use, goddamn it, solid fucking fair use, and anyway, do you really think an open-source project is going to sue Wikipedia over one edited GPL-ed fucking sentence?????????? aaargh. (feel free to remove the profanity but I am really exasperated.) Homunq (talk) 15:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Just a note of why I was so mad: this article got templated twice, once as just a copyvio (which I removed and argued here) and the second time as a speedy-delete. I think that overlapping bots should check the article history to see if they are repeating a previous edit. Homunq (talk) 16:03, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
