==Ticket price?==X Ticket price was £50!? That's much higher than it must have been, no? Wasted Time R 15:47, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Yes indeed - it was actually £0.50 i.e. 50 pence - a real bargain. I still have an original flyer for the Nottingham University lunchtime concert. Many of us thought it was a hoax at the time. Chris Burrows 02:59, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Flyer? At UC Swansea, there was no time for flyers. They arrived on campus around 6 PM and there was an announcemnet over the PA that they would play the coffee bar for 50p at, I think, 730. Shortly after another voice came over the PA telling us that Bob Dylan was playing the third cubicle along for 30p. A good concert (Wings, that is).Cross Reference 00:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Wings72.jpg
Image:Wings72.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I dispute the statement that Wings played at Manchester University on February 18th. They did in fact request to play at Man U. but were turned away. They did in fact play at Salford University just a few miles away. I know that because I ran lights for them on that evening. We were setting the stage for a production of Joan of Arc when Paul arrived to request some stage time. We rapidly reset the stage, adjusted the lights, replaced the pale colors with vivid reds, greens and blues and started to rock and roll. Spent most of the night resetting everything for the dress rehearsal the next day. Jhebley (talk) 20:31, 19 February 2008 (UTC)John Hebley
