[edit] Criticism
Why is there no mention on how the change from MSN spaces to Windows Live Spaces lead the content of the former spaces to deletion? I've not yet made any criticism about that but I would have guessed many others would have already done so... Is there no criticism to such unwarned oblivious data-eviction? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.121.134.140 (talk • contribs)
The logo is very similar to ubuntu's, I added a small section for that. Also, It seemsa bit ironic that the logo is saved in PNG, as we all know how much MS hates open file formats. --hack124x768
[edit] Article Merging
I have decided that it would be best to merge the MSN Spaces article into Windows Live Spaces as this is only one service, not two similar services. This is a lot like the action taken with the MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger pages. Terry K
- Yes. That makes sense.

- I agree with this idea, makes a lot of sense.
- I agree with This Idea very Much. It'll make a lot of Sense!
- Also agreed. It makes sense to have all of this information (which is about the same thing, except the name was changed at a certain point in time) in one central location. Otherwise, it'd be like having separate articles for "Puff Daddy" and "P. Diddy". Czj 17:12, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- I guess I agree... Earth KING (Talk) 19:44, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

The URL section needs to be organised, currently it is not clear which part of the URL format is for the WLSpace's unique name. In my edit I used ***** but since it has been re-edited, and one URL appears to show an advertisement. Rather than reverting this edit and using ***** again, I believe it would make more sense if it was completely re-written with proper formatting, possibly in a table or something. Obviously, most readers are going to know that "spacename" holds the place for the WLSpace's name, but still, it's not at all ideal. SirronTheMighty 16:26, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MSN Spaces.PNG
Image:MSN Spaces.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
