[edit] New Warriors

The Newsarama thread referenced does not say that Wind Dancer is going to be in the New Warriors. Rather it says that a character named "Sophia" (as opposed to "Sofia") will be in the series. Another character will be able to control wind, but this character, Tempest is not Sophia. Sophia is described as Latina while Tempest is a young black girl. To say that it is confirmed that Wind Dancer is in the New Warriors there needs to be better evidence than this. Jvbishop 12:46, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

A better source would probably be http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/June07/solicitations.html specifically the New Warriors #1 solicitation text 'Who are these mysterious young upstarts that have dared to fight the powers-that-be? And what do they want from a de-powered mutant named Sofia?' this would confirm the spelling of Sofia rather than Sophia. Also being a de-powered mutant I think it is logical to assume that this will be 'Wind Dancer'. Also I don't think anyone suggested that Sofia would be Tempest in the entry, just that she would be appearing the New Warriors Vol. 4. I therefore think the original article should be reverted, linking to the source above rather than the old newsarama article (Richardm9 13:47, 20 March 2007 (UTC))
I'd agree to that. Maybe wording it different to include the text of the release would help. No one suggested the tempest/sofia connection in the Wikipedia article but it was suggested in the newsarama discussion that was used as the source. Jvbishop 14:01, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
