Winslow House, Mount Kearsarge, NH; from a c. 1900 postcard. The hotel was named for Admiral John Winslow, commander of the USS Kearsarge during the Civil War. Destroyed by fire, the hotel was located at what is today the picnic area of Winslow State Park.
