Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user page — it looks like you've been doing that a lot lately! Anyway, thanks for catching it and cleaning it up. (I've no idea what I did to annoy that particular user, but c'est la Wikipédia!) —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 00:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

WHY

slugger9066 is my account y cant i edit it from my friends house and his account? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raptor022 (talkcontribs)

If User:Slugger9066 really is your user account, then please log in before editing the userpage (it is perfectly possible to do this at your friend's house). Your edits appear to be vandalism and are making major changes to the page. If you do not want to log in to your account at your friend's house, I suggest that you wait until you are home before you make major changes to your userpage (including a gender change). Thanks. Will 21:15, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Your level of warning,your intention??

Lens (optics)‎ was vandalised(Actually erased and was given a level two Level of Warning, you just gave him another level one...121.7.56.203 10:42, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey - I was actually giving the benefit of the doubt as the last warning was nearly 3 weeks ago so it could not be the same user performing the blanking. You may be right though - perhaps I am a bit too lenient sometimes. Cheers. Will 10:46, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Wall

OMFG WTF i have been trying to edit the Berlin Wall page to the correct information as someone ELSE has VANDOLIZED it and you keep changing it back to the BAD version.... the true information is the information that i have put on dating the Berlin Wall back to 230 BCE. If you choose to be a moderator and spend all your god damn time on this website i would appreciate it if you didn't change all my good and majoly hard work on that page. We are highly educated professors at Curnel University with doctorates and other good things. Dont beleive the communist conspiricy that dates the wall to 1961 DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, Look at websites like link this for unbiased and information based on FACTS not conspiracies made by RUSSIOAAN COMUNISTSSS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.39.160.45 (talk)

Thanks for fixing my user page

He was probably annoyed that I reverted his changes to Salvation Army, I'm not even sure how I came to adopt that one. I guess now I have to set up one of those "This page has been vandalized ___ times" counters. It's almost embarrassing to admit to only one, maybe I'll do what they do with new checkbooks and start off at 101. Cheers. --CliffC 16:09, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry for making you revert my "vandalism" to Chelsea F.C.; I was actually testing Wikipedia:IRCMonitor which I'm helping to develop, and I wanted to see if the bug where it blanked pages was gone. Apparently it's not :-) —METS501 (talk) 22:50, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Arcade Fire

Hey dude we didn't mean to change the Arcade Fire page, we were trying to edit something different, and pasted in the wrong window. We were using the Arcade Fire page to get the code to make the music box on the side of the screen. My apologies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.116.33.120 (talk)

Don't worry about it. Even the best of us can accidentally do something bizarre! Good luck with the code. Will (aka Wimt) 00:03, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

School IP

Hey, I'm a student at the high school that uses the IP address "163.153.27.217". You recently reverted some vandalism that was done by a student here, and gave a warning that we may be blocked from editing if it happens again.

As a student and a member of wikipedia, I would suggest that this IP address be blocked from editing articles, but not from creating and using memberships in order to edit. People aren't going to stop vandalizing from this IP until they cannot edit at all. They don't have the attention span to realize that they've been caught vandalizing articles. I feel that an extended block be issued to non-members from this IP address. We've been blocked several times, but nothing changes. --Luxury-Yacht 17:25, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

My RfA

Thank you for your support in my my recent RfA in which I withdrew because the oppose votes were almost equalling the supporters. I then decided to leave my account (Tellyaddict) and start fresh under a new username, however I quickly decided to reconsider after another user persuaded me not to leave the account - I am now glad I did reconsider because leaving that account and creating a new one was too hasty so I've decided to improve rather than starting again! I hope we can remain civil and that there were no negative feelings caused. Again, thanks for your support even though I withdrew it, your vote is much appreciated! By the way, I'm not sure where to report this, but I think that the person who vandalised my page might actually be a registered user. If not, she or he is vandalising other people's comments [1][2] This is the orginal [3]. Should I revert the edits made to that comment to represent the original poster's? Do you know where I could bring this up to get help if you aren't sure what to do? Thank you very much for your time.--JUDE talk 00:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

No problem

It's no problem. I'm kinda sad because one person that I welcomed turned around and vandalized some of my pages. But it's all ok. It just shows how much we need editors.
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks

Some (now former) friends of mine vandalized my page using my own user name and made my user page say I was a homosexual, which is not true. I subsequently changed my password. Today you deleted the addition to Past life page

I wish to know what was the problem in letting people reach the real information of past life after typing past life in search?

Reincarnation is not past life. Those who want to know about reincarnation do have an access to that page. Then why is wikipedia keeping the masses away from the info on past life?

Is that title a private property of some?

I request you to look back at your decision and do the needful.

I will appreciate a curtsy of an answer.

Remember, others write after reading books, I write after letting persons see their past lives without hypnotizing them.

So all the info is tested authentic and useful for masses.

Rekhaa Kale 19:34, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I must confess I am somewhat confused as to what you are referring to. I have made no edits to the past life page itself (see history but I did make a reversion on Reincarnation, the page that it redirects to. However, as this diff shows, this reversion was just removing simple vandalism. I would very much appreciate it if you could be more specific about your concerns about my actions and I assure you I am acting with the best of intentions. Regards. Jade Goody

Hey,

As much as you might hate vandalism, if you have ever seen or heard Jade Goody then you will understand why her page gets continually vandalised and moreover the vandalism is thoroughly warranted as it reflects the utter hatred for this putrid woman amongst the general public. So it totally bewilders me why anyone in their right mind would want to protect this woman’s page, she deserves everything that comes to her.

If you dont know who Jade Goody is i suggest you read her article on wikipedia, in short she is arguably the most hated woman in the UK at the moment. I suggest you think twice before defending her page in the future.

Regards,

A. Vandal —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.78.103.235 (talk)

In reply to this, I would just like to say that I do know who Jade Goody is and understand why her page is continually vandalised. However, I strongly disagree with your assertation that the vandalism is warranted. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia not a vessel for opinions and, whatever my personal opinions on a particular article subject, this would never affect my contributions or vandalism reversions. So I encourage you to contribute neutrally and constructively to this encyclopedia, and please keep your personal opinions elsewhere. Thank you. Will (aka Wimt) 14:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

User talk:165.155.200.146

Sorry about this IP and it's history of vandalism, It a shared school IP so I would expect future incidents of editing previlage abuse. If that does happen please report it to AIV or something to stop the vandals. And thank you for issueing a final test4 warning to the vandals, I hope this will discourage them. --165.155.200.146 14:00, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

question

I have a question. How do I produce the auto-message "If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice" as is seen under your blanking warning on User talk:67.149.148.108? Couldn't find anything in Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 00:20, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
