Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Wilson Sukorski is a composer; electronic musician, multimedia artist; sound and music content producer for - radio, video, cinema, dance, theater - new musical instruments creator/designer and digital audio researcher.
He works intensively in all kinds of musical activities in Brazil. He composes for cinema ; experimental video; audio and art installations; art and madness; special purpose events, like the genetic algorithm based project - Amazing Amazon(98/99); automatic composition installation - using Prolog's expert system as Personal Music (87) and Fractal Music (89); media events such as PTYX (84) or The Medium of the Media (86); or just playing live music for a silent film from 1929 as São Paulo the Metropoli’s Symphony.
After participate in the researching content creation in a high-end computer environment - using Csound, virtual actors, live electronic music, live performance in the Leibniz An Electronic Opera (inspired in the text by G.W.Leibniz "Drole de penseè"). Project developed with Prof. Ruggero Ruschioni, at Division of Digital Systems (DSD) of Laboratory of Integrated Systems (LSI) of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, MRL Media Research Lab of NYU New York, and Cultural Itau. Nowadays he's working in the Opera Hiléia on Amazon themes, and performance activities.
