[edit] Character history

A former prostitute, Willow came to Salem to start anew; she rented a room at the local YWCA and started a waitressing job at Chez Rouge. Willow's past wasn't squeaky clean, as she ran away from home and became a teenage hooker, after being abused by her father. Soon, however, her dalliance with Shawn-Douglas Brady brought out scheming and vindictive tendencies, as she lied on the witness stand against Shawn, for Victor Kiriakis, and she attempted to burn down his apartment. Willow revealed that she is pregnant with Shawn's baby, and tried to get him to stay with her, but Shawn left town with Belle and Claire. Willow joined forces with Philip to try and catch Shawn and Belle. In a moment of weakness, and possibly trying to prove that she still had some decency, she let Shawn and Belle escape from Philip. Willow also tried to seduce Philip in order to secure a future for her child, but to no avail. She also nearly burned down his parents, Bo Brady and Hope Brady's house and stole his mother's jewelry to finance a living for herself and her baby (she has been fired from Chez Rouge). While there, she planted a hairbrush of Chelsea's on the scene, hoping to point the finger of blame on the Brady girl. When the hairbrush disappeared from the DNA lab, Willow realized that Chelsea was onto her. Willow spent the last few months of her life trying to convince everyone that Chelsea stole the hairbrush (she did) and was the arsonist who tried to burn down Bo and Hope's house (she wasn't). She was finally arrested and begged Hope to bail her out. Hope asked Willow to sign over custody of the baby believed to be Shawn's to her and Bo, yet Willow refused. Willow got Nick to bail her out of jail, and gave him a kiss as a reward. After a little tussle with Nick, Willow fell and hit her head on a rock, dying of blunt-force trauma. Willow and her baby died on June 6, 2007. A post-mortem DNA test on the fetus proved Shawn was not the baby's father.
