Willie Moore

Willie Moore was an Irish sportsperson who played hurling with the Cork senior inter-county team in the 1950s.
Moore first came to prominence as a member of the Cork senior hurling panel in the early 1950s. He came on as a substitute in Cork’s victory over Tipperary to win a Munster medal in 1954. Moore started at midfield when Cork later defeated Wexford in the championship decider, giving him a coveted All-Ireland medal.
