Willibald Beyschlag

Willibald Beyschlag (1823-1900) was a German theologian.

He was a professor of theology at the University of Halle and the leader of the Evangelical Middle Party. Beyschlag founded the Protestant League in 1886, believing that only in unity could German Protestantism find strength.
