William de York was a medieval Bishop of Salisbury.

He was provost of Beverley as well as holding prebends in the dioceses of Lincoln, London, and York. He was also a royal justice.[1] He was elected on December 10, 1246 and consecrated on July 14, 1247. He died in January of 1256, probably on the 31st.[2]
