[edit] Death

William 'Action' Jackson was a big man; he was 300 pounds of 'The Outfit' or Chicago Outfit enforcer and loan shark that was thought to have become a government snitch for the FBI. William 'Action' Jackson was taken to 'The Outfit' Sam DeStefano's basement torture chamber where he lasted three brutal days on a meat hook before he died. (See Sam DeStefano)

[edit] On Film

William 'Action' Jackson's death is correctly named and shown near the beginning of the semi-biographical movie 'Ruby' directed by John Mackenzie and starring Danny Aiello as the title character of Lee Harvey Oswald assassin Jack Ruby.
