William Wallis

William Wallis (December 14, 1878 — November 12, 1939) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played for Derbyshire during the 1906 season. He was born in Long Eaton and died in Wilsthorpe.
Wallis made his first and only first-class appearance for Derbyshire in a defeat against Marylebone Cricket Club. Wallis was bowled out in his first innings by onetime Test cricketer and Wisden Cricketer of the Year Walter Mead, and in the second by Alec Hearne. He made one catch in the outfield but was not selected again for Derbyshire.
