William Thompson (cricketer)

William Thompson (June 24, 1882 — October 19, 1954) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire in 1908. He was born and died in Spondon.
Thompson played one game during the 1908 County Championship season, against Leicestershire. Thompson scored a solid 17 runs in the first innings, but was out for a duck in the second, while Leicestershire won the game by a 141-run margin.
