William Seebring

William Seebring, playwright, novelist and, using the pseudonym, Douglas Michael, cartoonist having produced narrative comix for Fantagraphics, D.C. Comics, The Waterkeeper Magazine, Harper Collins, etc. Creator of Newsflash, a weekly editorial cartoon and often cited by the New York Press Association for humor and originality. In 1988 Seebring won the New American Comedy Festival Award for his play "The Geldings".
Most notably, Seebring is the author of The Original Last Wish Baby, a satirical play which has been performed in venues around the world and remains a cult favorite for college and High School drama students. The work was published in the Applause Books anthology The Best American Short Plays 1995-1996 of 2000.
