William Ross (composer)

William Ross (born 1948) is an American composer, orchestrator, arranger, conductor and music director. He has worked with a large array of artists and musicians, from famous Hollywood composers John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Klaus Badelt or the late Michael Kamen, to pop music icons and best-sellers such as Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Whitney Houston, Kenny G., Michael Jackson, David Foster, Quincy Jones and Babyface.

Mr. Ross has composed the soundtrack for films such as Tuck Everlasting, The Little Rascals (film) and Ladder 49. He conducted the themes of John Williams who composed the score of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Ross was Music Director and conductor on the 79th Academy Awards.
