William R. Haine is a Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 56th District since he was appointed in November, 2002.
Haine lives with his wife Anna in Alton. They have seven children and five grandchildren. He is a graduate of Saint Louis University and received his Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
