William Powell Jr. (b. January 17, 1967 in North Carolina) is an author, stage actor and comedian. He wrote and published his first poem at seven and spent many of his childhood years telling fantastic stories to and talking for his three sisters and brother. William wrote poems and plays in college, some of which were published or produced, others not. After a detour into the world of computers, William returned with a vengeance to the fiction scene in 2002, publishing Return to Skull Island, a fantasy novella, and finishing the novel Valkyrie, which began life as a short story written Christmas Day 2000, and which won a Writer's Digest short fiction award in 2002.

Valkyrie was released released February 1, 2007, by Echelonpress.com (ISBN 1-59080-529-1). It recounts the adventures of fictional, super-powered secret agent Myla Henderson.
