William Parment

William L. Parment (b. 1942) was born in Jamestown, New York, and raised in Ellington. He is a "sixth generation Chautauqua County native."
Within the New York State Assembly, he represents District 150, which includes such Chautauqua, Harmony, Ellery and French Creek, among other neighboring communities within upstate New York.
Initially elected to the Assembly in 1982, he currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Legislative Taskforce on Demographic Research and Reapportionment.
Prior to his service in the Assembly Parment worked as a civil technician within the construction industry as well as a facilities planner for the State University of New York.
He holds an AAS from State University Agricultural and Technical College and a BS from SUNY-New Paltz.
