William Moore (born May 18, 1985 in Hayti, Missouri) is an American football safety for the Missouri Tigers.

While at Hayti high school Moore was a standout wide receiver and cornerback earning all-state honors on both sides of the ball. While at Hayti he helped them win 3 consecutive conference championships from 2001-2003. Moore finished his high school with a school record 74 receptions for 1,768 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Moore started his career as a reshirt freshman working on the scout squad and working in the Tiger strength program. In 2005 Moore played in nine games starting two of them, finishing the season with 30 tackles and one interception. In 2006 Moore played in all 13 games starting four of them. He finished the 2006 season with 51 tackles and one interception. During the 2007 season Moore led the entire country with 8 interceptions.[1]

After a strong 2007 season Moore is one of the top safety prospects for the 2009 NFL Draft, and is expected to be drafted in the first round.[2]
