William L. Proctor was born January 27, 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the former Chancellor of Flagler College.[1]
Bill Proctor attended the University of Florida, Stetson University, and Florida State University. He received his both his Masters degree and Doctorate from FSU. Proctor served in the U.S. Army Reserves, and is currently a member of the Florida House of Representatives. In 2007 he was named the interim Athletic Director for the Florida State Seminoles, and he is only looking to serve in this position until a suitable replacement can be found.
