William Howe (architect)

William Howe was an American architect. Born in Spencer Massachusetts, He patented the Howe Truss design for covered bridges in 1840.[1]
Existing examples of its use include:
- Buskirk Bridge, built in 1852 in Washington County, New York
- Rexleigh Bridge, built in 1874 in Washington County, New York
