William Horace Taylor (GC)

Lieutenant Commander William Horace Taylor MBE (1908-1999) was awarded the George Cross for the gallantry he displayed in bomb disposal work in September and October of 1940 while serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.[1][2] Notice of his award appeared in the London Gazette on the 14th January 1941.
