William Henry Carroll (1810May 3, 1868) was a wealthy plantation owner, a postmaster, and a general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.

Carroll was born in Nashville, Tennessee to William Carroll, a general during the War of 1812 and the Governor of Tennessee from 1821 to 1827 and again from 1829 to 1835.

He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis.
