William Hayes (born May 2, 1985 in High Point, North Carolina) is an American football defensive end who was a 4th round selection (103rd overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League. He played college football for Winston-Salem State University. Hayes was not on the league's list of possible draft picks. William helped his draft stock considerably when he was clocked at 4.59 in the 40 yard dash at his pro day at Wake Forest University in March of 2008. At 275 pounds, he is big enough to play defensive end and fast enough to play outside linebacker. William is represented by John "JR" Rickert, an agent out of New York.
