William Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 3rd Earl of Minto

William Hugh Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, 3rd Earl of Minto (19 March 1814 – 17 March 1891), was the eldest son of the second earl.
From 1814 until his accession in 1859, he was styled Viscount Melgund.
He was Member of Parliament (MP) for Hythe 1837-1841, Greenock 1847-1852 and for Clackmannanshire and Kinross-shire from 1857 to 1859.
He was made a Knight of the Thistle in 1870.
