William Durie Lyon

William Durie Lyon ( – 1893) was an Ontario merchant and political figure. He represented Halton in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal member from 1875 to 1879.
He was born in Scotland. Lyon operated a store in Milton in partnership with his younger brother Robert Adam. He also served as reeve of Milton and warden for Halton County. He was elected in an 1875 by-election held after William Barber was unseated after an appeal. In 1879, he was named stipendiary magistrate for Thunder Bay district, serving in that post until his death in 1893.
