William Doerner (writer)

William (Bill) R. Doerner (born 1941 in Missouri, died 2003 in California) was a writer and bureau chief. He wrote for TIME Magazine and later worked for the San Francisco news bureau. He was one of the first to write about the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco.
