[edit] Entrepreneur with questionable motives

William was the son of Sophia Blakely and her late husband, Charles. His half-brother was Luke Gianni, the son of crooked fashion mogul and his former fiancee, Maria Gianni. Until his arrest, he was also the benefactor of Michelle Miller Designs, which was run by Michelle Randall Miller and Lexi Walker. the company, once it was stolen from Michelle by the conniving Maria and Lexi, was then renamed Lexi Walker Designs.

Maria's company, House of Gianni, was in true financial insolvency, when he bailed her out. He called in his debt, and she paid it, thanks to crooked mobster Eddie Zarouvian. Thanks to the scheming Maria, who had connections with people in the IRS, William was arrested on tax evasion and fraud.

This setback didn't stop William; and he didn't crack, even under the duress of Maria's threats. Of course, his incarceration had infuriated his mother, and the two arch-enemies went at it again.

Whilst incarcerated, all of William's assets, including Michelle Miller Designs, were frozen, which sent Lexi and Michelle to find another backer. Given Lexi's proficiency at business, due to her Harvard education, her efforts were successful.

William's wrath was aimed squarely at Maria, the person who caused his arrest (she sat in her car, enjoying the sight, and had the nerve to wave at him); and he and Sophia vowed that Maria shall pay dearly for this.

After Maria's supposed death, it was discovered that William had shot her, and framed Tania, who thought he loved her. This left her to take the blame for him, which she did so willingly.

Because of fears for his safety, due to his tax evasion charges, he left Los Angeles and went overseas to do his business. Although, they didn't start off on the right foot, Luke and William became amicable and he made it clear to Luke that no matter what, he would always be there for him. William truly wanted the best for him, and before he left, he gave Luke his cell number, letting him know that he would always be in his corner.
