William C. (Bill) Carr III is an athletic administrator, and former athletic director at the University of Florida and the University of Houston.
Carr was a graduate of the University of Florida, where he was an All-American and All-Southeastern Conference center as a senior in 1966. Carr returned to his alma mater in 1970, where he was named Athletics Director in 1979 at the age of 33. He later served as Athletic Director for the University of Houston.
