William B. Black is the Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 104th district since 1986. He is currently the Deputy Republican Leader.
In 2007 Black had announced his plans to retire at the end of his current term, but he entered the race for re-election after the Republican nominee Scott Eisenhouer withdrew his candidacy [1].
