William Atcheson Stewart (February 15, 1915 – December 8, 1990) was a Canadian politician.
In 1957, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario for the riding of Middlesex North. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, he was re-elected in 1959, 1963, 1967, and 1971. From 1960 to 1961, he was a Minister Without Portfolio. From 1961 to 1975, he was the Minister of Agriculture.
In 1983, he was appointed the fourth chancellor of the University of Guelph.
In 1976, he was awarded an honorary LL.D. from the University of Guelph. He was elected to the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame in 1988.
