William Jewell College is a private, four-year Liberal arts college in the United States. With 1,274 undergraduate students located in Liberty, Missouri. It was founded in 1849 by members of the Missouri Baptist Convention and other civic leaders. It was associated with the Missouri Baptist Convention for over 150 years, and it has a large collection of materials from Baptist history. Well respected in its field, Jewell was chosen by Time Magazine as its 2001 Liberal Arts College of the Year.William Jewell College - Office of the President

Playing their home games at Greene Stadium on the campus of William Jewell College, the WJC men's soccer team's home games are well attended by WJC students and the Kansas City soccer community.

2007: Josh Howard: In the summer after his junior year at William Jewell College, Josh Howard, playing with the Kansas City Brass (PDL), was one of 11 players in the country named to the Premier Development League ALL LEAGUE 1st TEAM. The PDL is a national 63 team summer league consisting primarily of the country's elite amateur/college players.

2007: Josh Howard, after his junior year at William Jewell College, is one of three players in the nation named as a finalist for the 2007 PDL National Defender of the Year award while playing with the Kansas City Brass (PDL).

NSCAA/adidas NAIA Men's National Coach of the Year

2006: Chris Cissell was named NSCAA/adidas NAIA Men's National Coach of the Year after guiding William Jewell College to a 18-3-2 season that included the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) championship, Region V championship, NAIA National Tournament and NAIA National Final Four appearance. Chris Cissell also earned HAAC Coach of the Year and Region V Coach of the Year honors in the same year.

adidas ODP Interregional All Star

2005: Kevin Nekuda, after his freshman season at William Jewell College, represented Region II (Midwest) at the US Youth Soccer U19 ('86 birth year) ODP Interregional in Chula Vista, California. After the event he was one of 20 players in the nation selected to the adidas ODP All Star team.

The top U23 men’s amateur league in North America lives in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the development ground for elite players. The schedule is augmented by participation in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and various exhibitions. Players have the ability to compete in the PDL throughout the summer months in a professionalized setting while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league is the proving ground for players that aspire to reach the highest-levels of the game.
