Will Success Spoil Herman Munster? is a season two episode of the hit sixties sitcom The Munsters.

  • The episode begins when Herman gets his hands on an audiotape recorder from one of Eddie's playmates. Herman plays with the tape recorder and records a version of the song Dry Bones. The song becomes a mega hit when a disc jockey gets a hold of it it from Eddie's friend. The family believes the voice sounds like a "werewolf with laryngitis". Herman emerges as the mystery singer and his ego shows. Herman dreams of being on variety television to accepting an Academy Award. Lily decides to stop the madness and Grandpa helps whip a batch of Nuthin' Muffins to ruin his voice.
