Will Smith (comedian)

Will Smith (born 1971 Jersey) is a British comedian and comedy writer. He grew up in Jersey and is well-known for his love and encyclopaedic knowledge of Bergerac, as well as his posh boy persona. He now lives in London.

[edit] Stand-up comedy
Smith tours regularly in the UK and has taken solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every year from 2003-2006. His solo shows have each had unique, often obsessive themes. The shows have been: Will Smith: Is Much Obliged, Misplaced Childhood, Ten Arguments I Should Have Won, and How To Be Cool.
Since finishing his tour of 'How To Be Cool', a book has been commissioned, although a release date has not been announced.
Smith supported Ricky Gervais on his record-breaking sell-out 2007 "Fame" tour. He has also supported Ardal O'Hanlon and Johnny Vegas.

Together with his writing partner, Roger Drew, Will has written for or various TV and radio shows. They were the main writers on Armando Iannucci's Time Trumpet.[1], They have also written a book together called the Joy of No Sex, published by Penguin.
