Will Holt

Will Holt (b 1929) in Portland, is a twentieth century book writer and lyricist most noted for his work on the Broadway stage during the 1970s.

Holt is best known for his book for the 1974 Andrews Sisters musical, Over Here! and for his Tony nominated play, The Me Nobody Knows. He is also known for the English lyrics of Lemon Tree to the tune of the Brazilian folk song Meu limão, meu limoeiro. He studied with Richard Dyer-Bennet.
