William Genia who was born in Papua New Guinea is a rugby union player and he plays at scrum-half for the Queensland Reds in the Super 14 competition making his debut in round 1 of 2007 season.He was educated at Brisbane Boys College finishing in 2005, the same school as team mates John Roe Andrew Brown and James Horwill and he played GPS, Queensland and Australian Schoolboys rugby in 2005. His brother, Francis Genia, plays for the Papua New Guinea national rugby union team
